What is Yoga?

Typically in the West Yoga is a form of exercise involving holding poses, breathing and meditation.

There’s several different styles and group Yoga classes can vary hugely in physical intensity depending on the style and class, from very physically demanding classes through to very gentle restorative practices.

Yoga is normally considered primarily a form of exercise in the West, however it is a much deeper philosophical system allowing you to dip into it a little, or become deeply involved in it as a lifestyle.
